In your most recent Revelation class, you mentioned that you feel that the woman of Revelation 12 represents a portion of the "faithful followers of God," both Jew and Gentile. I'm wondering if you could expound on this a bit more. While I agree that at least some Jews are in view here, I'm not certain that the symbolism lends itself to an interpretation broad enough to include gentile believers.

It seems to be a current practice for a lot of end-time preachers to ascribe modern verbage to eschatological references. Examples: The Russian nuclear accident at Chernoble is the third trumpet because Chernoble means "Wormwood"; The 2nd seal is a red horse so thats communism; Where the term eagle is used it refers to the USA; The bear to Russia, The lion to Great Britain, etc, etc. You get the picture.
