I have attended a church for a few weeks, it is Baptist and they seem to really care about seeing people come to the Lord. The problem is that the teach OSAS and I am torn as to whether to continue here or not. I like the people, they seem to care for the things of the Lord but they have this teaching that I think is wrong. Can I have some opinions on what you think. I guess what I mean is what is Biblical?

I completely agree with the PFRS position that salvation can be lost by coming to a position of unbelief. However, I have a question about some other scriptures that seem to say that there are other reasons besides unbelief that lead to loss of salvation.
Such a verse is Rev:18-19.

I have a friend who is a PB and it seems the way they get around the verses that speak of losing your salvation or of falling away is to claim that they all refer to a temporal salvation. They use the standard Calvanistic verses to say they are elect Eph 1:3-12, Romans 8:29-30 and 2 Tim 1:9.
