Thank you so much for the time and work you have given me in helping me to work through and understand the correct meaning of both the Ten Commandments and the nature of the Covenant, I really appreciate this.

I was raised as a Christian. About 2 years ago, I became interested in attending a Messianic congregation. I liked it for a while, until I felt that the people there thought too highly of themselves when compared to the Gentile churches and people. Many were saying that they can trace their roots back to ancient Hebrew biblical people genetically etc... How do folks approach these decrees?

How is this to be interpreted with regard to replacing the Law of Moses? It appears to have strong language regarding such an occurence...

I couldn't find an introduction section, so will post here. I really have enjoyed reviewing the articles and discussion; I am a follower of Messianic Judaism (but not Jewish by birth). I will keep reading so as to not ask or discuss something already hashed. Thanks for the great information!
