Jesus' usage of "Son of Man" |

What is the meaning of this title as applied to Jesus? Is it synonymous with a human being? For instance, when Jesus called Himself that was He just affirming
that He was human? Or is it equating Jesus as the figure in Dan 7:13-14?
Or is it both? |

Peter like from the Family Guy?
Son of Man has the following referrals: Human, Prophet, Holy Individual, The Messiah. Jesus himself used these various referrals. For example, in John 8 Son of Man is referring to him being the Messiah. In another passage concerning the Sabbath, he says that the Sabbath was made for a human not a human for the Sabbath since we humans need rest. |

Son Of Man is likely the reference in Daniel. That is what the average person in Jesus time hearing his words would associate it with. |
