Yes, that is sad to hear. I hope the PFRS itself is not going away. I've learned a tremendous amount from what this little organization has to offer.

I am saddened and stunned. May I ask why it is being shut down? Is it monetary? If so...how much does it cost to maintain? There so much of great value here it
will take quite a bit of effort to save it all.

Rest assured, the PFRS website is not going away, and it's not about money. I haven't had time for quite awhile to give these forums the attention they
need. But more importaintly, it is time for me to move on to something else. My family and I are planning to go as missionaries to Bolivia. We are tying up
loose ends, raising support, and jettisoning all the unnecessary bagage. We are hoping to be on the mission field within the next year.
In the meantime, Joel's forum (Berean Council) has a much better format anyway. Most of the posters you read here are either already there or could easily switch over. I'm hoping all of you will make the switch. If you would like to contact me, my email address is rogersamsel@yahoo.com YBIC |

Do you really have to close the forum? Couldn't you still leave it on the internet but stop people from adding new posts, so that the information is still available for everyone? |
