Does anyone have any good info on Henry Wright's teachings; A More Excellent Way? John Aldridge is also one of their teachers, and he has a teaching CD entitled "Romans 7 Separation." Unfortunately, we have several friends that are caught up in this movement. I believe much of what they are teaching is unbiblical and dangerous. I know they badly misinterpret Romans 7, Matt 15:11, James 3, Ephesians 6:12, and numerous other passages. One of their teachings is that sin is a "being" (such as a spirit or a demon) with a personality, and that we must "separate people from their sin." They even say that when we sin we should NOT feel guilty about it because we are not our sin! 2 Corinthians 7:6-10 immediately comes to mind.
Did the ECF's address any of this type of teaching, either directly or indirectly? Again, any detailed info on this subject would be great.
